Welcome to iboats

50:1

5 Imperial gallons or 6 US gallons of gas to 16 oz. of oil

use tcw3 rated outboard motor oil, not automotive oil.

The ratio of 50:1 works out to be about 5 gal gas with 13 oz oil. If you put a full pint in 5 gallons, it ends up being 40:1.

1 US gallon = 128 US fluid ounces.
So in US units that's 5x128/50 = 12.8 fluid ounces of oil to 5 gallons of gas. (call it 13 ounces)

1 Imperial (UK gallon) = 160 UK fluid ounces
So in UK units that's 5x160/50 = 16 fluid ounces of oil to 5 gallons of petrol.

In the rest of the world 1 litre = 1000 millilitres
So its 25x1000/50 = 500ml oil in 25 litres

FWIW
1 Imperial (UK) gallon = 1.20 US gallons or 4.546 litres
1 US gallon = 0.833 Imperial gallons or 3.785 litres
1 UK fluid ounce = 0.961 US fluid ounce or 28.41 millilitres
1 US fluid ounce = 1.04 UK fluid ounce or 29.57 millilitres
