I'm considering adding "Captians Choice" exhaust to a 1996 230 Valanti. Has anybody tried this little project? Mine has a Merc 5.7

I have not but I can assure you it will only add noise, there will be no noticeable gain in power. The stock exhaust system flows fine with a 5.7

I thought it was "captain's call".... It's always a poor call IMHO to make noise just for the sake of making noise
