Default 1978 mercury 40 hp thunderbolt ignition

Hi to all out there,
need help on my 40 hp mercury two stroke 2 cylinder1978 with thunderbolt ignition and it has no spark.it is a manual start .checked wires for any breaks all seems ok,any suggestions would be appreciated

Tiller or remote? Disconnect kill switch wire and mercury switch (if it has one) to eliminate those two possibilities.
