please help with sears motor (15 hp)

hello. i just got a 15 hp sears its runs fine but i would like to know what year and a little info on the motor so i can get parts or trouble shoot problems.

the motor is a Tecumseh, tag # t-381, 6934244

chassis # is 217-5876-0 , serial # is 3a-231128

thanks any help would be appreciated

Go to www3.sears.com, and plug in your model number in this format:

217.58760

That will take you to the engine's exploded view parts diagrams and parts lists. Sears has some parts for your engine, but the folks at certifiedpartscorp.com have way more.
