Change steering and engine mount...

Hey guys..don't have my books with me where I'm at right now, but does anyone know if I can pull the mount arms and center steering bracket from a '93 90hp Rude so I can replace the existing items on a johnrude 85393M, S/N 03658 with the tilt system moulded through the right mount bracket. I want to use the items from the '93 to make this older one have T-N-T.
Anyone know if This will work? I've only got the old 85hp here and no parts manuals with me..

1973. If you find a way, let me know. Same should work for my motor.

I recall looking into this and the midsections are different in a few places including the mounts.

She's a no-go willy...
Bottom mount bolt on steering bracket comes in from rear on '73 and has only 1... the '93 has 2 and both come in from front.
I called DH and he says the '93 powerhead can be fitted to the '73 but not the other way around.
CMC here we come.........
