What have I got? Any help please Chrysler???

I have just bought at an Auction a Chrysler 7.5 outboard motor for my little rubber boat. Problem I am not sure if it's 2 stroke or 4 stroke the model nember is 72H3F and the sn# 1821 I have not tried to run it as I don't wnat to mess it up. Also I have never had a outboard before so nay help would be great. Thanks in advance. Russ.

Your motor is an 83 2 stroke.Fuel mix is 50:1 use TCW3 rated oil.2.6 ozs per gallon.1 pint to a 6 gallon tank.Try to find an owners manual also an after market service manual will have basic maintenance and operation of a 2 stroke engine.
Be sure your boat is rated for that size motor.
If you haven't boated a safe boating course is a must.
