When pulling the starter rope on an outboard moter, with the choke pulled out, and a new spark plug... after pulling 30 or so times should you be able to smell gas on the spark plug?
I am stupid, had the external gas line going the wrong way,,,,, MY Wife figured it out, motor is running fine now. Thanks to my wife and Elvin.....<br />signed::: stupid
Perhaps your wife has a bright future ahead of her as a OB mechanic. <br /><br />BTW, how did you pay her for her services?<br /><br />Don't sweat it, there isn't a one of us here that hasn't made a mistake like that. At the time it is so frustrating...later down the road you just have to sit and chuckle at it.
