hi,model 15sf sea.075630 only way i can crank it is to hold this spring loaded red button out let it go motor dies im new at boating lot i dont know but this seems weird thanksfor any help
sounds like you missing the emergency stop lanyard. that red button is a stop switch/emergency stop swith.<br /> the lanyard has a fork shaped plastic end that clips under it to hold it out and the other end clips to the operator.
