Before you take it out. I recommend you do the following.<br /><br />1. change water pump<br />2. check lower unit oil<br />3. change old gas<br />4. clean carburetors<br /><br />You engine might bog or spit and sputter. Well, it might perform perfect. But if it seems to be kind of rusty. I recommend you spray a can of decarb in the throat and change the plugs.<br /><br />5. decarb engine<br /><br />just my opinion. remember, the more you use the engine, the better it will perform and sound.
