Mercury 115 Oil injector broken. What ratio do I mix gas and oil in fuel tank?
The oil injector is broken and the guy I bought the boat from says he has been mixing oil in the gas tank. I asked him how much or what ratio was he using. He said he just pours some in the tank. Can anyone tell me what ratio to mix the gas and oil for this 1989 mercury 115?

First of all, I'd be very leary on the condition of the motor given this response. To answer your question, most mercs run on 50:1 ratio. Any 2-cycle oil has the mixing ratio listed on the back of their container.
