Re: Tach question
i have a 1976 merc 115hp. im not sure how identical they are, but heres what i did.<br /><br />back of tach has 3 terminals<br />"S" goes to one of the yellow wires coming from stator<br />"I" goes to ignition to apply power(12v)<br />"G" is ground. no explanation needed.<br /><br />some wire harness's have a grey wire built in for the tach, some dont. mine didnt. good luck. keep posting. rock n roll
