70 hp johnson spittin

We recently purchased a 19 1/2 ft kingfisher with a 70 horse johnson. Having a few problems with it. Cranks up right off the bat runs good and then all of the sudden spits up and acts like its gonna die out then goes back to running good. Does this about every minute or so. Have cleaned and adjusted the carbs, new spark plugs, and new coils. Running out of ideas.

Could be the fuel tank vents) is(are) not working. <br /><br />Could be the floats on the carburetors are not set correctly.<br /><br />If those are OK, the powerpack could be failing when hot.
