Part # for starter gear 79 Evinrude 6hp ?
This seems to elude me...the plastic pinion gear on the pop-up starter is cracked. What is the part #, and does Sierra make a less costly one than OEM? Thanks!

Part number is 318447. $12 and some change from BRP. Don't think anyone offers it other than BRP....
