I have a aluminum plate bolted to the transom, iwanted to paint it with rustoleum paint, and then top coat with bottom paint to keep the growth off, just wanted to know if anybody tried this procedure before? The boat is 19 ft cc with 110 omc off the back!

No need for the rustoleum if you use Primacon aerasol primer and the interlux spray antifouling paint for outdrives.Trilux I think???
