foward control wiring

have just fitted evinrude 115hp 1976 model.need to know what the yellow /blue and green wires that come out of the control box are meant to connect with

Darren..... There are no yellow, blue, or green wires associated with that engine's control box. We would need to know what color wires they are connected to.... or what component they are connected to within the control box in order to answer that question.

joe the model number on motor is 115593E and the serial number is 110049.is this a 1976 115hp evinrude? not sure if these wires are original so i will have to have a play around with the motor running.i think they may be for the tachometer. also another querie on wiring. The wires that come out of the trim/tilt motor these being red/black/blue how are they connected to the trim/tilt switch. the switch is seperate to the control box.it is a three way toggle switch.also when i am standing behind boat there is a black wire that connects to the left tilt ram.this is not connected to anything. can you tell me where this is meant to be connected. I am currently trying to track down a manual for this motor so i can have a look myself.until then i do appreciate your replies.Thanks Darren
