We are have water level issues on the lake we use. As a result we don't want to put our boat in the water. We are considering buying an older boat that we can use for the season. Something around 16ft with a few seats and an outboard (20 to 80hp). Any idea what the draft would be? We would...

    Power trim needed

I mentioned in another post that I am looking at an older boat. It is a 1975 browning (same as a Aerocraft fisherman). It has a Mercury outboard. The power trim is either not functional. Is it needed? I could probably fix it but I am not sure it is worth the money to fix it.

Any guess to 1975 Aerocraft/browning draft?

I am looking at a 1975 Browning 16ft aluminum open bow boat. The water level is going to be low this year so I am planning to leave our boat out of the water. I am looking to buy a temporary aluminum boat. I was told it is a browning. A web search shows it may be the same as a Aerocraft...

I starting cutting out the rot. I thought it was around the ski locker and the drivers foot area. Well it is around the ski locker but it also extended under the drivers seat. Once i got the floor out, I discovered the foam in that section was wet. A little later I found a puddle. I was...
