My unit is on a 1979 volvo Penta is there there any where a part # can be found so perhaps A cross reference impeller can be used in stead of purchasing a completely new sea pump?
Any one have or know of a place that could supply a part number for a impeller for a Volvo Penta Sea Water Pump?All parts prints just show the pump and no internal parts.
Model of the enginw and out drive = AQ200D - S/N 3402 on a 200Hp. GMC engine
Like to change the impeller that is inside of the sea water pump which is mounted on the V-8 engine.
Can this be accomplished when the boat is in the water.
The boat is a 38' houseboat with Volvo Penta Aquamatic 280 I/O drive.
Not that I'm planning to have a fire, but I was wondering if there is much difference between the two types during clean up afterwards. I also see extinguishers need to be replaced after 12 years.
