    1971 60 hp evinrude 3 cylinder spray in carbs, only 1 does anything

    When I spray fuel/oil mix into my carbs, none of them react except the bottom carb.. I KNOW this means something, but for the life of me, I can't figure out what, or find out where.. I put my fingers over the carbs and they all feel like they are pulling in air..

    1971 60 HP Evinrude runs fine on muffs, dies and bogs in water

    carbs rebuilt, link and sync done, new fuel pump, new hoses, new tank, new primer bulb, runs great on muffs.. I put it in the lake today.. hard to start, didn't want to idle, bogged down when trying to go and died. Ideas?

    What should be an "okay" compression for this motor? Cylinder 1 is 90 Cylinder 2 is 110 Cylinder 3 is 120 I know the motor is a bit rough, but is there anyway to improve cylinder 1?

    1971 Evinrude 60 hp 3 cylinder sea foam, now won't start

    Type IV Carb.. Everyone says to adjust the low speed at 1 1/2 turns out, then adjust in... But the repair manual says 5/8 out, then adjust in... I'm confused, can someone explain this to me?

    I completely cleaned and redid the carbs. Engine flooded and died. I took the carbs apart and noticed the float valve was sticking closed. These are brand new, carbs shine like new.     I was replacing my fuel lines, and forgot to mark which went where.. I got that the line coming in from the tank goes in the front by the screw, but does the little tube go to the carb and the bigger one go to the other part in the block?
