i have replaced the coil and points, spark plugs. boat was running great then just stopped and now wont crank, not getting fire out of the coil, changed it twice so that cant be the problem. 2.3l ford omc cobra. any help would be appreciated.:confused:
I have a bad bump sound in my outdrive and water in my oil, any comments on what could be wrong. just bought the boat and it ran good hooked to the water hose,but when put in lake all this started.:facepalm:
Im looking for an owners manual or repair manual for a 1988 VIP Vision w/ 2.3 L ford engine and OMC Cobra stern drive. Can anyone help? Boat runs good just never had an inboard before and dont know much about them.:confused:
I just bought a 1988 VIP Vision with a 2.3L Ford motor. How can you tell what horsepower it is , as the guy i bought it from didnt know. Is there a way to find out? Motor runs good but needs some inside work.:facepalm:
