with all my gear the weight is around 1600lbs, the boat has 2007 40 efi on the back..right now its spinning 3000rpm's wide open @26mph..prop is 10 1/8"x15p..the cav plate is even with the bottom of the boat..what can i do to bring the rpm's up
my well mate has owned it since 1990 and this work horse has well over 8000 hours of run time on her..compression is 115-110..the power pack has been replaced 3 times now all cdi (2001,2005,2010)..it starts up and purrs when he is trolling and most of the power band,its having a hard time...
