    Re: If you could have ANY boat... I enjoy power boating but as size goes up so does fuel consumption. I like the idea of more room and the ability to go using a minimal amount of fuel and the capacity to live aboard. This is how I would like to retire ( no lawn to mow).

    Re: $25 tarp vs $500 cover I'm with Bob_VT. You can build a frame from pvc or out of wood that will raise the tarp off of the boat allowing for air flow, and still keep the rain out and prevent sun damage..and will also prevent situations like this But you'll probably only get a year or two...
