Has anyone ever converted the huge cooler in the middle of the rear seat on Q5SF to a live well and used the original live well a the cooler? It seems to me that they got this backwards considering how small the live well is.Im thinking I can just move the existing aerator over to the "cooler"...

I am wanting to add a depth finder transducer to my motorgude wireless trolling motor and was wanting to know if any one else has done this. My goal is to make this look as good as possible and not pinch any wires.
Hey everyone, I have a 2010 Tahoe Q5SF and the other day when I was washing down the boat I noticed some cracks around the inside of the rear storage compartment . My question is how serious are the gel coat fractures and how hard is that to repair?
I go in for rotator cuff surgery tomorrow to repair a "near complete" tear in my left shoulder from dropping my Harley. 6 weeks in a sling and rehab means not much boating for the rest of the year.Everyone be safe.

Sorry it took me so long to reply to this but here is what I have.
They are quick change also, all you have to do is unlatch from the base and clip them to the struts for the bimini top and insert the bimini struts to the base mount .
I have a 2010 Tahoe q5sf and Iam thinking of attaching rod holders to the side storage compartment. I want to make wooden blocks to epoxy to the sidewall so that i can screw my holders in place. Can anyone recommend a good epoxy for this?
I have a Motorguide w55 wireless trolling motor that is about a year old. Ever since it was new it made a lot of news when steering or turning , a sound a like it was working too hard or grinding on something. Is this typical for these motors?
I have my depth finder located on the dash of my Q5sf and would like to be able to move it to the front when Im fishing. Has any one else done this. I have a Lowrance depth finder/fish finder .

I might be a little late to the party but I had the same issue and found "trailering struts" to be the missing part. The rear support gets clipped up with the plastic block and the trailering support goes in to the quick connect mount.Hope th pic helps...
