    OMC hi/vis alternative oils for Cobra i/o

    Read alot of great responses to the oil changing post. I have a cobra outdrive hooked to a 4.3 omc. The manual says to use ONLY OMC hi/vis - this has become harder and harder to find since OMC's demise. Is it ok to use other name brand hi/vis lubes and what name brands do you recomend?

    Ok, I yanked off the exhuast manifolds and noticed the wires to the solonoid on top of the starter were corroded. When I cranked on the battery wire bolt, I broke the plastic backing on the solonoid It seems the replacement solonoid is a "metric" one. The solonoid on top of the starter motor...
