I have an 84 or 85 40hp evinrude tiller on the same year Crestliner Nordic fiberglass. I would like to go to remote/stick steering. What is a good kit to do this and where do I start? I'm pretty mechanically inclined but I know nothing about outboards or boat workings so please.. plain English...
Looking at a 15' Lowe sea nymph (2003) that has a 40hp Evinrude, fuel injected 4 stroke (that's all I know about it, assuming it's a 2003). Engine is black (don't know if they came in other colors)
Anyone tell me pros and cons about this motor? Buy it or run far away?
