A couple weeks ago my trim unit stopped working. I performed electrical and fluid checks and determined the motor needs replacing. Since the unit is in such poor shape, I decided to pull entire unit and repaint while replacing the motor.
Removed 4 of the 6 bolts, snapped the head off bolt 5...

I have had problems with my boat all summer! Bad relay on tilt motor, cracked cylinder. Boat ran fine a couple weeks ago, but last weekend I couldn't get it to idle. Took it back to my Excellent Mechanic and he said I had water in my gas tank.

I have a 1996 Evinrude 112. E112TSLEDR.
Water is collecting inside the motor compartment from the Water Pump. The water pump works, but must be leaking somewhere inside.
Any idea how to fix?
