    Looking for opinions on depht finders.

    1974 Merc 85hp Lower unit ?

    Hired someone to put a water pump and have seals repaired on my lower unit. He put the lower unit back on motor and everything works fine. Almost. Now the reverse lock does not work.     Need a new vertical shaft, the rust has taken its toll on the old one, seal wont seal. Went to see a friend of mine and he told me about an epoxy you apply to metal that fills in the rough areas so the seal will seal again. Never heard of such an epoxy, was wondering if any of you guys know...

    Leaky Boat
