    115 Yamaha alarm

    I've got a 115 hp Yamaha that runs fine. I keep getting an audio alarm RANDOMLY!!! It's using oil from the tank & both heads are at 135-140 degrees. Any ideas on isolating this issue?

    Info on mid 80's V-6

    I haven't even seen this lovely yet. I have a hunch that is has the prestolite distributor that 2 of the lobes on the point cam are really reaching. I haven't seen 1 for along time. I do seem remember that the points were set in a certain way. May be wrong! But since mother merc made i-boats...

    Proper water hose length on mcm-1

    I'm replacing the water hose on an old inline ser.#3286441. All parts listings I find they say 13 3/4". It seems that I vaguely remember that, that was a type-o & the length should be 12 3/4"! Can I get anyone to agree or even disagree? Thanks

    Yamaha V-4 Alarming

    I've got an issue with a 115 V-4 m/n P115TLRT. New water pump. Comp & spark test, good. Strong tell-tail stream, consistent. 2 questions: #1 Would a thermostat on either side cause this?
