mariner 30 hp. bracket says 30ml 689 l 323785 I have searched high and low and am getting frustrated. Maybe the so called polar vortex is getting to me .I dont know. I need to know what year this is so i can order a manual for the specs. Thanks in advance for the help. Its a long shaft tiller.
just removed this. is this normal. white greasy sludge.i just rebuilt lower unit all new seals.and installed 5 inch extension. had to baby her back a ways after I spun my prop hub. now I see all this sludge?

ok guys, got it on the water today . got a 14 ft alumacraft jon boat. Motor is dialed in . she revs hard idles perfect but when I go full throttle I don't go any faster than 5 mph. Im posting some pics. its either the prop (there are no sharp edges) or the gears ? again motor is revving...
