    2010 lund explorer 1825 with 125hp

    Do you think the 125 on this boat (2010 explorer 1825) is enough motor. It has max rating of 150. I want too be able too pull skiers and wakeboads. Anyone have any experience with this combo. Thanks

    Putting a new motor on my 97 superfisherman. It says max hp of 125 for the boat. Not sure if the HO version is worth the extra money. Any pros or cons on either motor would be appreciated. thanks mike

    alumminum hulll pin holes

    Decided too flood the boat and check for leaks. Fond 5 pin hole leaks, see pics. They look like they are from the inside out. Do alumminum boats rot from the inside out.     repowering boat. upgrade steering?

    I have a 75hp force on the boat now. Putting a evinrude 115 hp on the boat. I currently have rack and pinion steering sytem. The boat has zero feed back from the motor now, and tracks perfectly straight. I dont even need too hold on too the steering wheel.Will I need too upgrade this steering...

    compression results

    Did a compression test on my 96 force 75hp. #1 is 131 #2 is 127 #3 is 131 psi are these no.s in the right range for the motor. thanks for all the help mike

    occasional sputter

    i hae a 96 mercury force 75hp. it has an occasional sputter. does it under load. did it today more than normal. it does a quick sputter than runs fine. then a few min. later does it agian. it went away after a whiletoday and stopped doing it. it does it at mid too full throttle. any suggestions...

    1996 force 75hp prop selection

    OK, have a 1997 starcraft superfisherman. Aluminum boat, weighs about 1200 pounds dry. Running a 1996 force 75hp with 15 pitch prop. The boat does about 30mph. and rpms, i think, are too hight, running almost 6000 of open it right up. Should I go too a higher pitch prop. Seems like it winds up...

    ok a couple of questions. first I can hear a slight chatter that is comeing from the top of the bottom end, just underneath the power head, only hear it when you are right next too the motor... is this normal,,, its not comeing from the very bottom of the lower end , kinda the top of bottom...

    Force motor, hp rateing over rated

    Ok, have been trying out a 97 starcraft superfisherman, with a 75hp force motor. Boat does 33mph tops. (gps), I would have thaought it would do better than that...are the force motors over rated on the horsepower. boat weighs 1200 pounds, and useing a 14 pitch prop.... Havent baought boat yet...
