    I have a pontoon with a 85 hp evinrude. If i take off slow and build up speed everything works fine. If I start out about 1/4 throttle and go to half pretty quick.     distributor question.

    how much is a distributor fo an older chryser 140hp motor? I think mine is hanging up when I give it more gas and is putting things in a bind as it trys to advance. Not 100% that is the problem but it appears that way. Is this a common issue? Thanks

    Engine Temp On 1973 85hp Evinrude?

    What should the engine block or exhaust water tempature be on a 1973 85hp Evinrude. I do not have the alarm hooked up. The engine is on a stand and I have a laser temp reader. I just changed the water pump and was wanting to know if it is doing what It is suppose to be doing. Thanks

    I am wanting to put the engine on the pontoon today and wire it up. Im do not know how to wire the motor to the battery. Can anyone help. I have the controller and understand the controls red connection goes to the engine red conection, but how do you wire the bayyery in the system. Thanks

    changing water pump on 1973 85hp evinrude

    I am have a problem getting the gear case to seperate from the exhaust housing. I have removed the 4 gearcase screws and am having troubles getting the two to seperate. any help would be appriciated. Thanks
