So, seems like a basic question. We just bought a new to us deck boat with this motor. We came from a searay IO and trim was very important for cruising with that engine.
Is standard practice to cruise engine trimmed all the way down for slow cruising 5-10 mph?
So on the mount cod the hummingbird 797c it’s missing the screw that would hold the fish finder onto the dashboard mount and let it be locked and adjusted upward or downward. I thought the marina mentioned Scotty screw but I have no clue which one would work. Here’s the model...

Our lower unit line for oil from the trim bottle of lube needed to be replaced. They had to remove the lower unit
now two issues:
1 - trim gauge works but is reading wrong. All the way down on the trim now reads about half way down on the gauge. It’s way off but works as far as functionality...
