I just picked up a wizard model Wm?a( not sure what the 3rd digit is). Serial is 831170. My first question is what year is it. Second will mark 25 coils of the same year. 3rd what is the fuel mixture
I have a pressure tank that leaks fuel when you push the metal primer down it squirts out by the shaft. The diaphram looks perfect. Is there a sealant i can use temporarily until i get the new diaphram?
I picked up this motor, got it running but can't figure out carb setting which needle is low speed? It also has a tube on the starboard side that looks like a tell tale but oil/fuel come out its weird that it sprays fuel on the exhaust housing and makes a mess. Any input is appreciated
I am working on my friends fd-10 long shaft but at some point it was changed to a short shaft evinrude lower unit. My problem is I need a lower unit seal kit. Will the kit for an fd-11 fit.
My 1965 sea king 6 hp has a sea foam green gel in the exhaust housing that leaks out. I thought it was lower unit lube whipped with water but when I removed the vent and fill plugs the lube was brown with water droplets in it. Is the green gel just unburned oil with water or lower unit lube...
I took this motor out for the first time after carb kit new coils and impeller. It ran fine for the first 20 minutes then started stumbling every few seconds. Adjusting the carb does not help. I'm wondering if a small leak in the tank around one of the bolts could cause this but the filter bowl...
I just picked up this motor and to my surprise the coils have been replaced already,but when I do a resistance check on them they have different resistances. They are different brands. Is this a problem. One is about 4.5 k ohms the other is about 7 k ohms or so.

picked up this motor from a guy for free. got it home and pulled the head and its rusted solid in there, and appears to be full of sand, what would be the best way to get this free? id like to try to get it running as the ignition has all been replaced already, but if not got a good parts motor.
