Bought a 15' Arrow Glass Tarpon with a 50HP Johnson on it. Have had it in the lake 3 times now and the last time it took on a lot of water. It has a live well that drains out the bottom of the hull and another well that drains out the side. I did not have the plug in the well that drains out...
Just bought a boat with a 50HP Johnson (50ESL74M) that has an Evinrude Simplex controller. Appears that the linkages are rubbing against both each other and the housing. This makes it hard to put in gear and putting in gear changes the throttle when they rub. What can I do to fix this?
