I finally got my Seloc manual and I have just become more confused. I'm tryiong to adjust my throttle linkage so I get full throttle and the motor will idle right. I've been reading and reading but I just have no clue what they are talking about. I have a 1962 40hp johnson.

has anyone ever heard of a bent Transom mount? I'll explain a little better, if I list the motor up and look at where the motor and the transom intersect it's not 90 degrees. looks like I need to loosen the bolts on the port side of the boat and place a shim between the mount and the transom.
my boat feels funny in the water. I had a 25hp on it before and I didn't notice any issues but now with a 40 on it, it wants to lean to port and when driving it turns great to starboard but feels very sketchy and turns lazy not as tight as starboard.
I'm going to restore this boat to as close to stock as possible but first I need to know what it looked like. If anyone has seen this type of boat before please let me know.

I have a 1962 40hp johnson with a stock prop. it mounted on a fiberglass 13' 7" closed bow boat. I want to be able to pull a water skier. my question is should I stick with the stock prop, get a vented prop, or get a ported prop? any ideas?

I put new plugs in my 40 hp Johnson and it started right up and gets 28 mph, then I lost one cylinder, no spark, and it's not the plug. any ideas on how to fix this? please help!!!
