Tach harness

I have a 1985 50hp four cylinder merc.-cant think of the seriel num right now- that has the tach hook up plug on the controls, and need some info on harnesses. Like where to find one. Ive looked on here and ishop and even my local marina cant find any. So i need a little help. thanks

Wht type of controls do you have? Mine (Commander 2000) has a 5 prong accessory plug and takes 86396A8.

My Mercury 50 {500} used a 3 prong lead which I just bought on ebay for under 20 dollars.

I also have the three prong in the controls. What did you look for on ebay? Thanks
