what part of the state did you find that, please don't say it was near me i'd give you one of my sons for that... i'd throw some $$$ too

Hey Joe,
I found her down the road from me in Naples..
A free kid is a lot like a free boat right? Sounds good, but the bills add up fast! lol

Now you have to find a totaled jet ski to get a motor and jet drive!!

yeah Would Love to follow that thread I have actaully been contemplating doing that exact thing to mine. Doesn't sound like a smart idea to any one i have talked to about it but... I have the boat and I have an old poc stand up that still runs good

good looking old boat. What kind of plans do you have for it?

Just clean her up, paint her..For now I have a 42 lb minn kota, but want to find a 1950's or 60's 15-25hp tiller johnnyrude for her.
Just wanna get a few fish or put around the local water..
Would like to take the bow peice and the stern corners off and have them replicated with some nice wood..may be classy..

very nice find, and the price was right, i think if you wait a few years till those supercharged seadoos start showing up in salvage and use one of those powerplants for your jet powered flats boat it would be silly fast. my bud has one of them ive been on it ONCE 70mph on a pwc was all the fun i needed, yet ill still get on my motorcycle and run 80 on I-4, go figure

it is an 1 1/4 inch transom. on mine i used a 2x10 and had to rabit the top of the 2x10 to go under the trim. it is the identical boat to my 14'lonestar.

this is what i did with mine. remote to middle seat, with controls, trolling motor. made the best one person boat i ever owned. notice the seat braces, in the bottom pic.

HA bud..
I havent touched her yet.
I am taking tomorrow off (I leave Sunday out of town all week) to go float her in the Calossahatchee River and see how crazy tall that 42# Kota is on her..
May have to stand up to steer, like a gondola guy! lol

Then when I get back, she'll get flipped so I can spend some time on her tomorrow and Sat before I leave..

I got paint for the trailer too, since it will be a great time to fiddle with that as well
