I think I am going to be at the Salmon River ramp around 9:30, so I might cruise up river a bit before heading down to the cove, I'll keep and eye out for you...

I got toilet paper some paper cups and plates. I'll be keeping an eye on the weather. Also bought some individual bags of chips.

Yeah weather isn't keeping me in. The tp is for those who need to use the bathroom, no way I could go without it lol. Hoping the mooring situation at Hamburg Cove is easy to deal with.

OK. My headcount has dropped to 2. I am bringing a grill.

I have a few bags of chips, some soda and beer. I will have some macaroni salad and some K-Bobs of steak tips and chicken with veggies. Not tons of food but was planning on 4 or 5 and now we are 2 so we will have plenty to share.

Planning on arriving at Salmon river launch around 10:30.

Will monitor VHF channel 8 and will also be flying a Ensign Flag on my rear light pole.

I have attached a picture of my ugly mug so you can run away when you see me coming.

Just checked weather.com and intellicast.com, looks like any "chance" of isolated / scattered T-storms would start in essex CT, around 4pm.

That forcast is good enough for me. See everyone soon....

Was definately a beautiful day on the water. Glad I was able to get some people to go for the trip. Only negetive to the day was coming back into the marina we had some nasty wind and current coming through and had a few attempts to get the boat into the slip. Ended up getting it there and all was well.

Good meeting everyone though. We had a nice spot in the cove, and couldn't have asked for better weather. Got a little sunburn, mainly on the ride too and from the cove, but nothing like I had 4th of July weekend.

Great day. I will try to upload some of the pictures.

Only negative of the day for me was attempting to get into Hamburg cove I was not familiar with the area and got in some shallow water. No prop damage other than some missing paint. I might have sucked some sand into the OB however the pee stream looked good and no overheating issues.

It was great to put some faces with the names.

I didn't bring the camera, but I wanted to. Had a few things I was going to do, like inflate the tube, but never got around to all of it. Couldn't have asked for better weather though. My first swim other than my pool this year!

it was a great day to do it.. nice to meet everyone too.. funny thing was that we all left and said we were going to just ride around and all ended up at the ramp at the same time.. a

only negative was trying to get into the dock at the end.. we had the wind and water pushing us and we ended up smacking into one of the pilings.. but no damage thank god.. also the motor seemed to be misfiring a few times on the trip back
