This is hopefully the final layout. The cushions were a donation from an old imperial.

The deck forward of the consoles is raised two inches and will be removable for clearance and access to the fuel sending unit.

The front cushion is hinged in the rear for access the bow for storage. As soon as i get the opening cut anyway. I thought most of this space was inaccessible in the original design.

I finally got started on the paint process with the first coat of primer. It is real hard for me to stop myself from trying to get it to cover like paint. I am using rustoleum #212731 it has gone on slick so far.

Thanks; It sure doesn't feel like it. I just spent a week working on a cajun f/s for a friend so i feel like I am behind schedule abit now. We are looking to splash her the first of May so if i stay on it we should make it.

First coats of paint going on. I chose to use rustoluem mostly due to i can get it locally and after the way it has gone on i am glad i did. Here she is still wearing the newspaper skirt.

A look at the splashwell and transom this turned out much better than i expected.

Looking sweet 86...yeah rusto here as well...nice stuff! The lighting in your photos, or my old eyes are having a tuff time figuring the top color...off white? cream?

It's just plain old white. It must be the cheap lights. It's not your eyes these pics make it look cream.

I was thinking that with the engine you plan to put on the boat that maybe you should change your username to "chinewalker" I see that's taken though. How 'bout "lukechinewalker"? You can always change your real name to match your onscreen persona

In all the time that has passed since my last post. I have come a long way.

As you can see in this one I came up 6'' short on the carpet.

A look at the yet to be wired helm. Still need to decide witch wheel to put on there aswell.

The bow came out ok but I am not real happy with it. I need to order more carpet anyway so i will redo it when i get time.
