Damn man. How many hours are there in a day over there. I know the casinos don't have clocks but you're taking it to the next level. Including the truck and trailer work you seem to be crossing a lot of things off the ol' to do list.

Nice work if I haven't already said it for the thousandth time. You've got a good eye as far as I can tell from all the house, boats, trucks, etc work.

I wonder if they'll let me across the border with my gun stockpile. It would be fun to take part of the day off and go lightup the desert. You guys have some awesome deals on ammo and what not down there. Let me know if there are any good places to go in Vegas to buy a press kit down there as I may get into reloading this winter. I'll probably down in Dec or Jan for a few days for a bit of a break.

One question...which stock certificates are framed?...I'm going to guess...Harley Davidson, Ford, and Kodak?

Or are they the obsolete ones that no longer exist(General Motors, Enron or Lehman Brothers LOL)

We have a set of hulk hands for my 4-year old...but our 1-year-old looks WAY more hilarious when he's throwing little toddler jabs with 'em LOL

I was just looking, it's been 32 days since we started....now it's just a matter of cash....need 4 new tires $340 (the current ones are from 1991 !!!! ) and a spare tire rim combo $120, spare tire holder $30
could have taken the rims and tires from the toyota car that was going to get towed from my neighbor, 4 3/4" spread on the lugs, they had 12 cars! all other peoples...some had dead engines and there was no way they were getting fixed, he bailed on the rental house and all had orange stickers (going to the auction!) woulda saved me 4 tires! lol

Good eye on the stock certifificates! Pan American airways circa 1951 100 shares / Penn Central Company (RR) stock 1970 / United Electric Light Company (the wife was into utility stocks and is from PA) so I got these for her when she set up her Scott trade acct ...

Hard to find those ENRON stocks! lol later years most people didnt get hard copies of stocks....
Ive got some stocks from the mid 1800s...RR and such...I dig on the old stocks / money / checks and reciepts from the 1800s. I bet theres a few farmhouses from the 1800s in your area...prob abandoned.....decrepid...falling apart...might be some cool old stuff in em... went into a couple last time we were in Mich, north of Lansing (St Johns) didn't find too much, mostly newer squatters stuff or someones recent (1980s) junk....old piano / farm equip / bottles etc... all the good door knobs were gone! (crystal)

Hi folks
well, as much as we would have LOVED to have this boat splashed and ready over 2 weeks ago....I have to make hay when the sun shines as they say (work work work)
anywyas....waiting for checks to come in now...then we can get the new tires on the sleekcraft trailer and finish up the sterndrive assembly etc....get her out on the water!
Ill post vids (once I find my little canon powershot, its kinda small and I cant locate it!) ....and pics of any work we do
I did start sanding at the gel coat at the bottom of the exterior transom, man that stuff is tough, like plastic coating, clogs sandpaper even wet....it is hardened...still clogs paper easy

anyways.....WAITNG FOR $$$$$

Sprint...there are 240 hours in a day here in Vegas lol
no...seriously ...the business has been kinda slow ...so just taking advantage of the time as best as possible...we could get more done....need to wake up before 1030 am tho....and stop reading the iboats forum for 1 1/2 hours each Am over coffee LOL

all this free time comes at a cost unfortunetely....being somewhat broke at times!

UPDATE Nov 5th 2009

well no checks yet = no work on sleekcraft!
missed out on the deal for 5 tires used off CL...
the current tires on the trailer are from 1991 !!! goodyear marathons....they look better than my 2008 Greenball tires on my Glastron trailer! as those have dryrot cracks already and the goodyears dont have any cracks.....

I still have to assemble the power leg and install it...and dissassmble and find replacement o rings for the power trim hydraulics as one was leaking a little...

also have a few small misc parts that need painting with the automotive white gloss acrylic

once we get all that settled we can splash her for some tests.......

My clients actually hold me back on being creative though.....they want the same thing over and over....good practice but it gets kinda dull......
During the heyday of Vegas realty I was on no less than 3 or 4 magazine covers per month.
Im relegated to doing weddings now! uuuhhg well it pays some of the bills......

Well......... we have a guy coming to look at the Glastron this weekend, I priced it kinda high so we have some room for negotiating....if he buys it we will have the cash to wrap up the sleekcraft!! yea

we need 5 tires and one rim or 5 new rims and 5 new tires (it currently has no spare)

I really have to motivate myself to finish up the powerleg work.....

it needs 2 cover plates prepped and painted with the white automotive acrylic...(I missed those parts when when I did the majority of the painting) and have to paint the prop too.....
