Re: OOPs Crew

i was worred about pullin the boat out of the water. not having enough weight in the back.. .
ya we saw around 8 of them on the way home. . just a little worried bout the rebuilt title.

like i said last night i fix cars (the bodys) the car that i just retired i fixed and it recived a rebuilt tilte when it had 23,000 miles i parked it guz the gas take leaked the altanator went out and it needed a axel wheel baring and tierods and it had 214,000 miles on it now and the last 36,000 miles were me beating the carp out of it on a mail route so..... what i'm tryiing to say is if it was fixed right a rebuilt tilte is nothing to worry about

any 2wd truck pulling outta the water is ok.......UNLESS ITS A DIESEL ! ^%$@^%$#&^%$

my 2wd is soooo heavy up frontthat i can get stuck on a plowed flat (iced over parking lot......(i only buy the best grip or studded snow tires)

the only boat launch i can use on our fave lake is a really steep one....with the big seray on the back....i allways get stuck.....allways....one day i had 15 people standing in the back of the truck so i could pull the boat out.....

but a gas 2wd should have no problems......
having said that.....i will only buy 4wd from now on

Re: OOPs Crew

no not really lol. i posted it on some ford forums and hopefully will get some info on it.. but it was such a nice truck. and i do like the older body styles more than the new.. but the best was the fact that the bed was huge compared to the ranger. i have a 48" walk behind that i havnt been able to use commercially due to no truck. also with all the projects i do. and now boat repairs it would be nice for wood and tools..

Re: OOPs Crew

A guy said it could be as simple as a fender bender that the insurance company deemed totalled. could be a replaced bumper he says

Re: OOPs Crew

here in michigan to get a rebuilt title you have to have damage exceding 50% of the vehicles value within i think 5 or 7 years of new

Re: OOPs Crew

so it's a one owner truck?
the insurace company didn't take the truck when it recived the rebuilt title?
if so thats a good sign that it wasn't damaged that bad

Re: OOPs Crew

ok what i see there is it was less than a month from the time it was issued a salvage title (would have been issued shortly after insurance company assed damage) to the time it was issued a rebuilt title (issued after inspection that repairs were done and vehicle is road worthy) that isn't to long of a time when you concider it would take at least a week to gather parts and then a week to get inspection so that only leaves two weeks for repairs probably wasns'nt that bad

Re: OOPs Crew

if i was in the market for a 4x2 pickup i wouldn't let a rebuilt title sway me just make me look it over harder however................ a rebuilt title affects the value greatly they are asking retail for it while i agree it looks good i think around $2,800 should be tops
