Re: What do you get for $5500 per hour?
I saw an interesting news piece on this in which the issue of whether or not it was money laundering was challenged. Basically what was said is that, because Spitzer's money was not illegally obtained, he wasn't laundering it. So, if there is laundering involved, it would be on the part of the escort agency, once they took what was was "ill gotten" money and employed some mechanism to use it as if it were obtained legally.
That said, this is much to do about nothing as far as I am concerned. I am also amused at the hypocracy of the news media, which is whipping its self into a frenzy trying to make money off of this. They are just making up for lost time because of all of the years in which everyone knew certain pols were doing the same stuff, but there was "a code of honor" in which the media didn't report it.
The funny thing is that the girl now has at least one (and probably more) men's magazines wanting to pay her a million bucks for a photo shoot. Add to that the fact that she actually does have some singing talent, and she isn't looking so dumb right now.
