I stumbled onto a 1959 Sea King That I would be shocked if it ever was mounted on a boat. Its a 35 h.p. Does anyone know the value or who would buy these if I did get it? No pics as I haven't bought it yet. Thanks

Good valuation for a "used" motor.

If it were truly "new" and could be documented with the original owner's manual and original hang tags, $1000 would be a minimum to a serious collector. If it were an OMC or a Merc, double that.

I will look into manual but Hang tag would be the info tags on the motor correct? Thanks

I see used 35hp from the 50s go for $200. To $700. A new or fully restored should fetch no less than $900. And are usually priced at $1200. Including controls and gas tank. If its never been used its worth what someone is willing to pay.
