I decided to fix a couple of my parts T@T units so I can change them later this year.

I have the tiny washers that go in the relief.
I got a set of upholstery pliers from Harbor Freight and after modifying them they work pretty good.

Now I was trying to find the right O-rings for the other parts??
O-ring for Check Valve assy. should be 2
The shuttle valve has 1
That's a total of 5 and I can't find the parts or the part #s anywhere??
I got the seals from e-bay.

i got mine from harbor freight - one of the Viton multipacks for around 10 bucks - http://www.harborfreight.com/180-piece-viton-o-ring-kit-67525.html

just match up old o-rings to the sizes. I think the old ones will look just a hair larger but it's b/c of stretching.

i used a toothpick to pull the old ones off. Put some oil before on the o-rings before you press it back together.

I have that kit or one like it.
I'd hate like &%$# to get it back together and find it don't work??

I got the upholstery tool from HF.
It didn't work until I "adjusted" it.
I cut out the V a bit more and the piece fit right in and the washer I cut out worked and the little bugger went flying.
Luckily I found the pieces.

It doesn't show it. Which way does the little washer fit??

I saw the sticky but it doesn't seem to show the orientation of the washer.

When using oil or grease and O-rings are used.
Any oil or grease should be put on after the O-rings installed.
Not so much oil but grease can "lift" the O-ring and make assembly difficult.

Got called out to a job because a customer couldn't reinstall his outdrive.
He said it gets to about 2" away and won't go in any further.
He said it came right out and won't go back in.

I grabbed a pick and a rag and removed the o-rings on the input shaft.
Wiped the grease off the shaft and cleaned the grooves where the rings fit.

Reinstalled the O-rings and greased the outside of the rings.
It slid right back in.

The grease made the O-rings bigger and the tolerances between the Gimbal bearing and the shaft wouldn't allow the shaft to go back in.

if you mean by washer the small lawn mower seat you are using - i put mine cup down - i wanted the smooth part to face the outside. It worked great. I really think those are the main issues - i replaced the other o-rings just for good measure but all of them looked like brand new. The small seals were toast though.

and yes I mean use the same 30w non-detergent oil on the orings after they are installed - just helps it slide in. I've done 2 of these so I'm kind of a veteran - ha ha

I picked up about 6 different o-ring kits a while back on amazon as well as my parker store to replace my stock. I have metric, US, viton, poly, NBR, etc. I also have a small bag of 3mm o-rings for BMW/Mercedes/Chrysler convertible top cylinders

Here were the big complete kits

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000XW3OAI
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003Y88BPG
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002KO1XK

I still had to order an A/C kit and hit parker for a bunch of specialty o-rings

not sure I would trust an o-ring kit from harbor freight. I did get a bunch of new picks from HF though as my good set was loaned out and never returned.

When you say washer, I may have misunderstood what you were referring to. I took it as you were referring to a metal washer, which there aren't any that I know of in the valve assy.

If you are referring to the very small rubber "O" ring or rubber needle valve seat from the Brigs and Stratton kit, then +1 with what SkiDad said.
