I acquired it and of course the people forgot to mention a few small details. The left floor is rotten, there are no stingers as this is a rigid hull boat but 3 of the bulkheads are rotten and the left side of the transom needs attention. Gimbal ring is shot

All is not lost though. The interior is immaculate as if it came off the production line yesterday and the motor is a 355 from mid 2013 and I've rebuilt the entire top end with far better parts. I'm restoring and upgrading everything

I've read through the post below but he never finished positng.

Anyway I'm going to pull the empty crap from the transom and pour Arjay into the cavity. I'll be using nidacore for the flooring and bulkheads with some roving on top and cheap mat on the bottom. My father repairs race boats for a living but he's 55 and can't do this non stop so I'm going this one alone.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Like I said, that 95' model HAS stringers. Not sure what you're meaning by a Rigid Hull and NOT having stringers???
I've heard of Rigid Hull Inflatables but not in fiberglass boats.:noidea:

I guess I'm used to a stringer being a large piece of lumber, not a wimpy 1/2" piece of nothing. I considered it more of just another bulkhead going front to back. I've never torn into this before so it's kind of new to me. I'm used to building drag skis as you can see in my profile pic.

All the stringers I have seen were in 40ft+ race boats and were pretty substantial.

Well, the hull is prolly totally foam filled and the foam is not only there for safety in case of catastrophic failure and flotation needs, but also adds a lot of structural integrity to the hull and the stringer/bulkhead substructure as well. Once all the foam is removed it all kinda gets floppy and weak. Take a LOT of pre-measurements and pics and then tear it all out and then just put it back the way it was. Just make sure to prep the wood correctly, do a good job with your glass work, and then care for and maintain the boat properly and she'll last for another 40 years.:D;)

No Title

BTW we have a 100% carbon fiber race cat from Arasaki japan that has no supports in the hull at all. Just bracing where the cockpit and turbines are

WOW!!!! NICE BOAT!!!! Yeah, and it's made from High Dollar Composite Materials and High Dollar Resins!!!! Retail Consumer Production boats for the General Public don't build with these materials and therefore NEED to use Stringers & Bulkheads to "Beef UP" their hulls to withstand the loads placed on them. Each hull design is built with each specific condition under consideration, Including PRICE!!! I wouldn't/couldn't afford to pay for THAT boat!!!!

Yeah it's not cheap. You should see the other toys. We also have the Drambui on Ice. Got hit by a train. CF/Kevlar.

I'll get back on topic and post some pics later of MY boat. Not my dreams lol.

All the carpet is removed and the parts that do not need replaced have been sanded and non skididididid. I had to remake the center tank cover and glassed both sides of the 5/8 core with roving. There's literally nothing left of the front bulkhead as you can see. I was originally going to use transom pour in it but the fiberglass is too far gone to hold up to the bonding so it is being replaced as well. The right side of the transom is perfect but the left side is completely hollow and I'll fill it with Arjay 6011.
