yamaha F250 DERATE to F225

Hello, curious if it is possible to turn a yamaha F250 (3.3L) into a F225. The reason I want to do this is there aren't much F225s around for sale, but quite a few F250s. My boat is only rated for a 225.

Would be helpful to know which 3.3 liter F250. They are not all the same.
