How do you read this?

There is the breakdown on the bottom that does not adds to like 1,170 for high retail.

I am trying to figure out if this price is out of line..

Nada values are fairly worthless.

That's a real nice boat. His asking price is a good bit over what your typical 20 year old glass boat would go for. However, it has a real nice motor on it and appears to come with some nice accessories. If you could get it for $4k or less I think you'd be doing ok. I'd offer $3500 and go from there.

I would rather have a Merc or a Rude, but that's ok... There are some decent Yammy Dealers in my area so that is always a plus.

He is firm on 4800... I offered him 4k..

Then he's smoking crack. Seriously. He would have done very well for that price.

Gotta say though, I'm surfing CL right now just for fun. I cannot BELIEVE what people are asking for boats or motors right now. I've never seen more rediculously high prices in the couple years I've been on there.

I have been looking for a Winner Chameleon..
Even though the listing says fishing it is really a fish n ski.. My parents had the same boat 15 years ago..

I think I will just watch it.. I watched it drop from 5200 down to 4800.

If someone buys it for 4800 then more power to him...

If he drops it again then more power to me..

Good idea???

If you're looking for that particular boat and it's in as nice a condition as it looks, you won't hate yourself in the morning paying $4k.

The Good:
The top cap is in excellent shape.
The seats, cushions, hardware,etc are all in excellent shape. Pretty
much the whole interior is excellent like it came out of the factory.
Solid floor and decks.
Trailer has been repainted.

The ????:
The splash well does have some crazing but this can even been seen on
newer boats.

The hull may have been refinished... Have not seen a winner before
with a gray hull that is not glossy.. I know 22 years can cut the
gloss.
Lower unit was repainted.

The Bad:
There were some chips on the side on a hard edge where it looks like
someone used resin to repair it.
There is repair made on the other side like maybe it came up on the
trailer wrong or rubbed a pier. (Amber Resin instead of flake on a narrow strip) It is a 22 year old boat so that
kinda stuff is gonna happen within 22 years...

They are not the cleanest repairs as I understand but he is pretty
picky. hmmmmmmm

Overall he said it is a very nice boat with two fiberglas repairs that
look like a home handyman fixed.
