Like post says I cannot get trim manifold off, lines were corroded , I cut ends went to take off ends and threads came with it. I took off the nut , can't get anything inside to remove the inner lines. There has to be a trick..... thanks in advance

Depending on the boat, its easy or super difficult. There is one nut holding that trim manifold on. Once thats off, gently pry to remove the manifold. There is only an O-ring (and maybe corrosion) holding it on after that. Once its off, it may be possible to rotate the manifold and remove the inner lines. I have a 230 Horizon Four Winns and was able to get to the lines from the inside with a son that had a skinny arm.

When I did mine I wrapped some 1/8" nylon line round the manifold and then used a hammer on tied to the nylon line to shock it out. The internal lines can be removed once the manifold is clear of the transom shield, but you need to remove any clamps on the inboard side to get some slack. Mark the lines re-location or you may mix them up.

I'm trying to remove my manifold and just read your reply, I'm not quite understanding it though. Were you using the line and hammer as a puller, trying to pull it straight out with the line wrapped around the manifold and the hammer as the pulling device? Thx in advance for any advice. Bob
