I have recently purchased a used 16 foot Stinger, I like how the boat rides and handles with a 40 hp with troll plate. I purchased the boat when the water was still hard. I have noticed water draining from the drain hole, not enough to start the bilge, the hull looks sound no loose rivets, I am puzzled as to where the water may be coming in. Any ideas?

Watch for water coming over the stearn when you slow down fast! Also check your boat plug to make sure that it is new and isn't cracked or not tightening up properly. LDJ

Live well pump hose leaks can cause water in the bilge also.
