Seeking brainstorming ideas from experienced hull rivet gluvit repairs for a 1995 grumman lowe sea nymph sport deck stinger deck boat issue
1 Procured boat from now defunct dealership with intent of restoration
2.Dealer had cleaned up boat and applied a coat of “bottom paint” he stated. Almost looks like flex seal?
3 Boat has been garaged now two years .
4 Recently contacted prior owner from old title ....visited him and he stated boat had some leaky rivets. could not identify specific ones.
5 I Intend to remove deck examine foam and now will address leak issue
6 Assuming flotation foam will be scraped off to bare hull exposing rivets
7 Have gluvit . Have access to rivet bucking tools
Soliciting your feedback and ideas of minimum restoration process requirements .
Step by step is fine
Intend to moor boat in marina
No feedback is too small or wrong. Thanks in advance
