San Diego Bay vs Mission Bay Advice to Those Who Know The Area

Hey all,

I have a 19ft Yamaha jet boat, we've been exclusively fresh water so far but the Admiral wants to try one of the bays. For a first timer, what is the best bet?

Here's what I'm looking for:

Spots to beach anchor (only thing I know for sure is Fiest Island north side is a no-no for that).

Possibly dock to get a bite (nothing fancy, the youngins will be with us)

Wash down spots (I understand not all ramps in the area have them).

A helping hand with some info would be greatly appreciated.
